Do you love doing hands on activities with your kids? In my house if we don't do a few activities a week my kids would go wild. Kiss Naturals make amazing kits that the whole family can enjoy doing together. They have simple kits that have easy to follow instructions that older children will have no problem doing on their own and younger children will enjoy with the help of an adult!

We were able to try the Lip Balm, Bubble Bath, Bath Fizzie and Glycerin Soap Kits. Each kit was super easy and had wonderful scents. The best part is each kit is all natural. You do not need to worry about any harsh chemicals harming your kids. Our favorite kit was the Bath Fizzie Kit. Strawberry Smoothie

• 8 cups Strawberries
• 1/2 cup your choice milk (skim, 2percent, whole, almond whatever you like)
• 1/2 cup your choice yogurt (Greek, Plain, Low Fat whatever variety you regularly use)
• 3 Tablespoons Sugar
• 2Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
• 6 Cubes Ice

Directions: In a blender add all your ingredients except the ice. Next add your ice. Blend together and serve in your favorite cup or glass! 

One more recipe for you to try since it is the holidays is:

Gingerbread Smoothie Recipe:

• 1 cup your choice milk (skim, 2percent, whole, almond whatever you like)
• 2 frozen bananas peeled and sliced
• 1 and 1/2 teaspoons grated ginger
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon molasses
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla

Directions: Start by adding the liquid and powder ingredients to your blender. Next add your fruit. Blend together until creamy and serve in your favorite glass or cup.

We were able to try the Leapfrog Count Along Cash Register my daughter is two and she absolutely loved it. The Count Along Cash Register is fully interactive with lights, sounds and 20 grocery items. The Count Along Cash Register tells the item and the color for your child  to scan to buy teaching them colors and new words. The register actually opens and closes just like you are cashing out an actual sale. It would tell my daughter the actual cost of the item and she would count out the play money that comes with the Count Along Cash Register. The register would let her know she had the right amount and then she would go to the next sale. She loves it! She has played and played with The Count Along Cash Register. I love that she loves it and is learning at the same time!

We next got to try out the Learn and Groove Musical Mat. My daughter loves to dance so I was super excited. She is two and she loved it! She would dance to the different songs. I was surprised that the mat includes over 50 songs and phrases to dance to.  There are also 3 different ways to play with the musical mat. The fun never ends. I would recommend anyone with a little one try the musical mat.

#EducationalInsights is always leading the way on innovative and all around fun children's products. This year we were able to try the My First Telescope, the Design and Drill Race Car and Sophie's Seashell Escape game. I loved that I was able to find something each of my children could enjoy since they are so different in ages. My youngest just turned 2 and the boys are 6 and 8. Rarely do I find a site that has something for each of them but Educational Insights is different I can always find something each of my babies love.
We have been having family game nights on either Friday night or Saturday night so we tried out Sophie's Seashell Escape. Sierra is ahead to be 2. She already puts sentences together and was very excited to get to play with us as well during game night. Sophie's Seashell Scramble is recommended for ages 3 plus. Sierra was a little young but with my help was able to play right along with the boys. Sophie's Seashell Escape is a fun little matching game. The first one to fill up their snack mat wins. My kids sadly haven't got loosing down to well yet. so we played 3 rounds so each of them had a chance to win. They really enjoyed how simple and fun the game was.

Next, we tried out the Design and Drill Race Car. I was worried that since it was for ages 3 plus it would be too simple for the boys but it wasn't. Christian and Gavin actually worked together and designed their own race car. It is an excellent STEM teaching tool and helps with hand eye coordination. My kids had a ball!

We saved in my opinion the best for last; the My First Telescope. Of course my kids are into the moon and the stars. We tell them about the man in the moon and to wish on the stars. They have stars that glow lining their ceilings in their bedroom. The My First Telescope is sturdy and very durable. I didn't worry that the kids would break it. It actually magnifies up to ten times and is perfect for little ones. The My First Telescope is another excellent STEM teaching tool. It introduces astronomy and up close lunar exploration to the children. My kids were actually able to focus in and see the moon very clear. We had a nice night looking at the stars and moon.

Crayola Emoji Maker #HolidayGiftGuide

The Emoji craze is sweeping the nation and Crayola has joined the fun with their new Emoji Maker. My boys are 6 and 8 and they love adding Emoji's to their conversations. The Emoji Maker is recommended for ages 6 plus and allows for hours of creative and fun play.

You actually create your own stampers. Ink is included in the 3 basic colors red, blue and yellow so you can create any color you like by mixing. You get 16 different markers so that's 16 different color varieties you can make and 16 different Emoji tips. The different types of Emoji's included are any face you can imagine, a dog, a cat, paw prints, hearts, flowers, eye balls and even pizza. The boys wanted the cat to be black and it was really fun watching them try to mix the colors to get close to black. It actually came out kind of a dark brown so we made the cat dark brown and did the same for the dog and paw prints. We also were able to make a very pretty purple color for the flower by mixing blue and red. I had almost forgotten how to mix colors it made me think how old mommy is getting.

The Emoji Maker is the perfect Holiday gift this season for boys or girls. They can create their own little code language using their different Emoji's and show their creativity in the process.
